Our Commitment

UPYOG Bihar aims to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technologies. The website is designed to the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW 3.0) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at level AA.

Accessibility Features

  • A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
  • Text-size controls (A-, A, A+) in the top bar.
  • Every function can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Images carry text alternatives; status is shown with text and icons, not colour alone.
  • Moving content (the updates ticker) can be paused.
